Re: Trying to figure out which Spark Plug wire set up to buy

Thanks,!,I snagged the NOS plugs,,!I have heard mixed reviews on those Lectric Limited wires,,some say they are great,,others say they are rubbish
waiting for others to weigh in I would like an American made set,,,,

110 views, so no one has purchased plug wires for thier Camaro? c'mon man help a brother out
Lectric limited is what I am leaning towards, despite somewhat fifty-fifty reviews,,
I just am not seeing a made in America correct set!

Re: Trying to figure out which Spark Plug wire set up to buy

I bought a set for my 68 Chevy II Nova four and a half years ago and they have been fine and if I have to get another set, I will probably get the same from lectric.

They are for my 230 6 cylinder but I would think the quality would be the same for a V8 model.

Picture of them from April of this year next to when I installed them and new in 2015:

At most I have used windex to clean them off but have not let them or the engine compartment get really bad.

Re: Trying to figure out which Spark Plug wire set up to buy

If you are looking for some date coded, Packard wires, Lectric Limited is about the only way to go. I purchased a set about 8 years ago and they work great. Back when I was looking, no one made an exact replacement. From my originals, I knew the front three of the distributor terminals should be L terminals. Couldn't find them. The air cleaner actually hangs over the distributor and those front three L terminals are supposed to clear the air cleaner.

The plugs I went with are R43S AC Delco, 5613090.
