How do you test a horn.

I have the two horn setup on my 68, one horn has the tab broken off. I want to test both to see if thay are good. can you just apply 12 volts to the tab and should the horn work?

Thanks
Ray

Re: How do you test a horn.

There should be a spade lug that the wire goes to on the horn, that gets the pos connection and then the bracket gets ground.

Re: How do you test a horn.

If you apply the 12 volts should the horn blow as normal?
