Talking Even The Top Of The Line Has Its Bad Days

Still in the process of replacing and upgrading components of the '69. The latest upgrade involved replacing the battery which was fine but I wanted a Yellow Top Optima. Replaced it 2 weeks ago and 2 days ago it was almost dead. Thinking I suddenly had a mysterious electrical or charging problem (bad 2 week Optima never entered my mind) I took the battery back today to have Advance check and charge it so I could get the car to the mechanic. Battery was bad. They replaced it of course but that's my buzzard's luck and a classic example at that. Top of the line battery that very few ever have problems with and the one I buy is bad in 2 weeks. A word of caution...stay clear of me during a thunderstorm 10 miles away. Lightning is very like to strike you from that distance if I'm nearby.
