Ignition coil

Ignition coil
Is there any advantages or disadvantages in putting a capacitor on either the + or - terminal of the ignition coil? I have a 1967 RS 327/210 HP engine. I just finished installing the Ignitor System from Classic Camaro. I don't recall if there was a capacitor connected to either terminal of the coil, ergo my initial question above. Any comments would certainly be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Ignition coil

I just answered this in the performance section. In the future just post in one section. It's less confusing that way. Thanks.

Re: Ignition coil

Capacitor on the + side for radio noise suppression I believe.
