69 Horns

My original horns are toast.

Are there any good off the shelf generic horns that sound good, or perhaps a donor car from a junk yard?

Authenticity isn't important to me.

Thanks. Brian Hatch

Re: 69 Horns

I guess my question should be, what horns sound the best, besides stock?

And if anyone here has tried them.

I know some horns sound a little less than "muscular"

Re: 69 Horns

How about musical horns like on the dukes of hazzard? Those sound pretty good.

Talking Re: 69 Horns

I considered those or maybe some lowrider Mexican Hat Dance horns.

Re: 69 Horns

FYI:

Found some horns at junk yard from a 80's era Monte Carlo.

AC Delco (A & F) easy to remove and sound good.

Brackets will work with minimal tweaking. (grinding off a tab and drilling out the threaded hole of the bracket for a clearance hole for bolt).

$6.36

Re: 69 Horns

Sounds good Brian. Sorry to make jokes, but every once it a while the door is wide open. $6.36 is what I consider a job well done.

Re: 69 Horns

Call Camaro Central 800-990-1969 and ask for Ben or Shawn. I just purchased a set from them and they are as close to original as I have seen. Hope this helps.
