Angry Headlight Switch Indicator Bulb Replacement

Hi all! I'm a newbie to this forum and need your help! I'm the original owner of a 94 Camaro so as expected as time goes by all things need replacement

The indicator light on my headlight switch finally died. I had no idea what bulb it required so I took apart the switch area (had to lift the dash a bit too) and this was a most nano sized bi-pin bulb I'd ever seen. Pep Boys and Autozone had nothing in this size. I went to Radio Shack and the closest I could find was a bi-pin bulb 12v 50mA but it lasted less than 2 months so obviously I didn't get a bulb with the correct specs.

Basically I just want to know if ANYONE has come across this bulb and replaced it OR if this is not really a replaceable bulb and the switch needs replacing? Some parts are like that, they make it so that you can't just simply replace one thing. At night the switch is so dark it's really annoying! HELP Thanks in advance!

Re: Headlight Switch Indicator Bulb Replacement

I would replace / try to rig up a different bulb in there. Maybe put in something bigger, with respect to heat specs, if possible.
