Question Console gages (temp/amp) not working?

Both temp and amp console gages do not appear to be working. Is there something in common between the two gages that could make they inoperable? Do they work off a fuse together?

make sure that your ground wire inside the console has a good connection...does the fuel gauge work ok? also do the gauges fluctuate when you turn on your lights? these are all indications of a poor console ground...

i believe there is a short ground wire jumping from the front pair of gauges to the rear pair on the underside.

do a search for low fuel module. somebody on here has an excellant pic of the backside of their gauges.

Turn your parking lights on...... If the lights for the gauges do not light up, then you have a bad ground.

BTW, there is no connection between the two gauges.
