Power antenna

Has anybody put a power antenna on a first gen? I want to be able to run it down flush with the top of the fender so the cover does not have to have a hole in it. So.... What kind did you use? Did you have any problems doing it? Anything I should know first?

Re: Power antenna

I used one on my 68 but it is in the rear not on the front fender. I just used one from AutoZone (or similar). Ran the power to a rocker switch since my radio does nto have the feed for it. I did it so that I could use a car cover without cutting the hole. Very easy to install.
