Angry ignition won't do anything

i have a 85 camaro z28 when i bought it, it has push button for a ignition. when you turn the key nothing, no door buzzer, gauges, heat, windows, stereo, choke, or no wiper motor, there is no power at all. when i got this car i had to run a jump wire from the starter to the distributor.i replaced the steering column, ignition swicth, ignition mod, and the whole underdash wiring harness and still the same thing. anyone have any idea's. this was also sitting for about a year and a half.i am stumped

Re: ignition won't do anything

Grab a testlight and check to see if there is power to the fuse box. If you have no power there, your problem is likely to be your main fusible link near the battery.
