electric fuel pump

my 91 came with a 305 tbi and it now has a 350 that was swapped before a bought it. is there anyway that i can still use the fuel pump from the 305 on the 350 because i have a mechanical fuel pump on the 350 but id like to put an electric fuel pump in and was wondering if the stock pump electric fuel pump that came with the car would work with the 350.

Re: electric fuel pump

Chances are that it will, since the pump doesn't care what size the engine is.

Re: electric fuel pump

If your original engine had THROTTLE BODY INJECTION, you can use your existing in tank electric pump, but you will need a BYPASS style regulator, set to deliver 6 psi to the carb.

If it had TPI, this won't work, the pump pressure is too high.
