Electric Temp Gauge install 2 questions on wiring

Putting an electric temp guage on the 69 Camaro. Everything is pretty well in place now but have 2 questions.

One - Where is a good place to get the 12v positive from the fuse box. I assume I only want this on when the switch is on. I see on my fuse box the horizontal fuses and between the two rows of horizontal fuses is a row of vertical spade terminals. Would any of those be appropriate to wire a spade connector to??

Question 2 - The gauge has a light. Which wire from the light switch should I splice into to connect so the guage would dim if I dimmed my dash lights?

Thanks

Re: Electric Temp Gauge install 2 questions on wiring

For guage power, use the spade terminal labelled "IGN"
For the light, use the one labelled "LAMPS" or tie into any gray wire you find.
