DSE's New RS Headlight control system

Just wondering if any of you 69 owners have tried this new set up DSE has out for 69 RS equiped camaros. If so, how do you like it? I talked to DSE and it sounds like they should have kits availble for 67 and 68 shortly. Heres the link if your not familier with this new product. http://www.detroitspeed.com They also have a video of how it works. Seems a bit expensive, but I'm getting sick of having to fiddle with my vacuum operated ones.

Re: DSE's New RS Headlight control system

I saw that the other day and was wondering if they are doing a kit for the 67's. Big issue is the $$$$$ factor. Not Cheap!

Re: DSE's New RS Headlight control system

ordered the kit today.
I was told there's 'bout a week lead time before shipment. Hopefully, I'll get it installed sometime in the next month or so.... I'll try to review it for the group then.

If someone already has it, let me know how it's going on the install and operation. thanks.

Re: DSE's New RS Headlight control system

Just a note. I have a retro-electro setup on my 69 and it works flawlessly, smooth and precise. Simple installation, great service. When I had any problems Mark at retro-electro returned my calls quickly and was more than willing to help. Switching to an electrical system is probably not for the purist, but for performance, ease and looks it is the alot better than vaccum.
