Question Re-doing 86 Z/28 with MSD set up

Hello, I'm new guys. So bear with me if I ask something stupid. I have a 1986 Z/28 with a Carbed 305 - 5 speed, Yellow with black interior - all factory. Now I've done all the basic bolt on upgrades. Edelbrock 600 CFM carb, Headers, full exhaust, intake manifold, centerforce dual friction clutch, Hurst shifter, flex fan, ect. Here's the problem. The car had a Engine bay fire a while back and it toasted everything under the hood. I want to go old school with the car now, no computer aided timing like the third gen HEI or stuff like that. All the plastic stuff I have covered and I have a new wiring harness on the way. I have a GM Heavy duty ignition for it, same as the MSD 6T. I want to remove the factory HEI and upgrade to the GM heavy duty ignition with MSD Distributor #85551, but I cannot find the MSD harness to hook the 2 together, all I can find is the GM version and they want almost $100 for the small harness. The wiring harness for the entire car only cost me $150 shipped. Can anyone help me out ? Or suggest some alternatives. Thanks in advance guys.

Richard
