How do I remove the center dash trim (radio)

I am trying to install a new stereo, how do I remove the center cover without breaking it? Does it clip in or screw? This is the plate that covers stereo, heater controls, ash tray. Thanks

Just remove screws, dont need to worry about breaking any clips?

my 67 there are screws on the bottom of the piece facing toward the carpet, and a clip at the top
just remove the screws and the top clip is more like a ledge, that the cover is bent over at the top to hold on to it

Re: How do I remove the center dash trim (radio)

I got it out. There were 2 screws in the bottom, one in the carriage for ash tray, and 2 more in bottom for aftermarket gauges. Thanks for help. Its awful tight back there, I hope the new radio will fit up in there.
