No Head Lights

The headlights on my 69 Z8 RS will not turn on. All other lights are fine. There is power to the switch. Anyone have the switch diagram so I can test it to see if the thermal breaker has failed?

Second, what should I be testing from the switch to the head lights. The lights are fine.

Re: No Head Lights

2nd the dimmer switch. if you have power everywhere but at the headlights, 9 times out of 10 the dimmer switch is the culprit. I know it seems too easy.

Same problem here... found it was the dimmer switch on the floor.

Re: No Head Lights

Just in case it's not the dimmer switch, here's an excerpt from my diagrams that might help you. You can find the full set in TC's classifieds.

Re: No Head Lights

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Turns out the issue was a dirty connection at the dimmer switch. Cleaned it up and now there is light.

We have to love working on these cars. Work on one issue and out of the blue comes another one.

Thanks everybody.
