Wiring Questions

I know I should have a expert take care of this, but trying to save money. My fuel guage, wipers, cig. lighter, radio all do not work. No blown fuses, but when I use the test light on the fuse panel, it seems I am not getting any power to the "Instrument" fuse (Does not Light Up). I guess good news would be that all run to this fuse, and it's an easy fix... Should all wiring comming into the fuse block from the firewall side have power? Any information would be a great help.

Re: Wiring Questions

What does work? Could be the bulkhead connecter or the accessory power feed (from the junction block next to the radiator) if nothing works except lights and ignition. I believe theres a fusable link in that line as well.

Re: Wiring Questions

Thanks for the reply go2fast. Interior lights including glove box work, blinkers ok. Thats about it. Previous owner swears the fuel gauge worked. I have had the car for a couple weeks. I got some wiring diagrams off this site but they are not very helpful too me. I think if I could figure out why my Inst. fuse is dead I would be on to something, but I don't know what going into the fuse box is supposed to be hot. Anyways thanks for your help I hope this helps you help me I'M LOST.
