Clock hook up ?

I need to know what fuse and or a ongoing 12volt line for my new clock for my 72 z/28? Everything is hooked up other then the power wire. Your help would be greatful.

Your clock is probaby a 20A fuse, assuming that courtesy lights or hazards or something similar is probably sharing the same fuse.

So, I assume this is a constant 12 volt current? Positive to what you mentioned, and ground the other?

The clock has to be hooked up to a hot wire at all times so that it will work even though the ignition switch is in the off position. Try running a wire to one of the fused terminals on your fuse block that has constant power. The other wire can be grounded anywhere on the body of the car.

Thanks Dave, I did just that! Works GREAT! Now, on to the Alpine in dash CD. And reccomendations? I think I need to cut the origional inlet for the radio?
