Question 67 front marker lights

Hello all,
I have a 67 (non RS/SS) and am having trouble finding the 'pigtail' for the front marker/turn signal lights. I ordered the assembly from npd which came with the housing/lens/bulb and 'socket'. However comma the socket is apparently what holds the bulb, not what provides the power. I need to know what and where to find the harness/wire part of the assembly. I called npd and the only one they could find was for 69. I called yr1 and he said I'd have to get the front light harness for 160 bucks. I have a complete harness from painless that included the headlight and tailight sockets. Painless may sell this separate but they had closed before I had a chance to call. So I thought I'd come to ya'll in the meantime. Thanks...

Re: 67 front marker lights

Are you saying you have the front harness now and it is missing the pigtail lead? If the wire for the socket is missing, try going to your local parts store and seeing if they have a pigtail lead in the Help section or you might be able to buy a socket for a turn signal light and take the pig tail out and splice it to the harness.

Re: 67 front marker lights

no, the harness was what yr1 could sell me with the leads included but not separate. I cant figure why these big aftermarket companies wouldnt carry them for a 67 (but do for the 69-72) if the local places do.

Re: 67 front marker lights

ok...just got off the phone with painless, said its not available said to call ricks. Called ricks and he said he had to fabricate his own for his 68?? He said to call american superwire or somethin and he said they only sell the complete kit and serves me right for not getting the harness from them...Looked on ebay but nothing. I refuse to believe that this has not come up in the past. Granted I haven't tried the carquest or napa yet, but it shouldnt be this difficult to dig up some sockets.
