Relocating Radio In My 69 Camaro

Hey guys,

I have an original radio in my 69 camaro that I want to leave in the car for looks. Here is my idea. I am thinking about cutting out a portion if the rear of the glove box and then inserting a CD radio in as far as it needs so the door glove box door will shut. I will then velcro it in the glove box.

I really don't need to open the glove box to use the radio because I use my IPOD 99.9% of the time and have the remote through the IPOD. At most I ruin the glove box and have to spend $13.00 on a new one.

What do you guys think?

Is your radio am only, or am/fm?
