Need help locating a part for my Ignition

Does anyone here know where I can find an Ignition cylinder sleeve that will fit my 68 camaro. All the local parts stores claim that they have the ignition cylinder lock itself w/key, but none of them have the sleeve itself.

Lost and need direction, please help

Re: Need help locating a part for my Ignition

not sure what a sleeve is...
Ignition is three parts, the switch, which includes the whole body and the outside threaded part that sticks through the dash, The lock cylinder with key, and the chrome bezel that holds it on. All the repro houses have all 3 parts, not sure about local sources.

Re: Need help locating a part for my Ignition

I think you are looking for the ignition switch. The lock and key are separate from the switch and as Jim said, it is available through any of the aftermarket warehouses.
