Relays ideas

I am in the process of putting a new 140amp 1-wire alternator on my 69. I am putting dual fans w/dual relays as well. I want to put relays on my DSE headlights to. My question is, do any parts store sell relays that have both the male and female connections? The only ones I have seen from AC Delco only have the male end. I am looking for the ones like these.
I do not want to have to solder the wires on the tabs of the relay. If the relay goes bad then I would have to cut the wires and redo.
Any ideas?

Re: Relays ideas

I found a kit in my local auto parts store that has the relay plus the female plug and some wires. Not sure about the quality of the relay though - it's not a Bosch like Mark sells at MAD. All you would have to do is solder the female spade connector on the end of the wire - those are very common - and then plug it on the relay. Ones like the female flat blade ones on this page:

Re: Relays ideas

I already did what you are planning to do and bought all my stuff here: I wanted a very clean install so I wanted to avoid using the pigtail setups that everyone sells and was able to get the terminals and sockets separately. I installed everything on a plate behind the driver headlights.

Re: Relays ideas

Jameco Electronics has a variety of relays available for automotive applications, and they're very cost competitive. Their web-site is at Look in the electomechanical section. Good luck!
