Battery Fuse

HI There, the previous owner of my 68 relocated the battery to the trunk. Basically, a 2 Guage wire run from the battery terminal to the post on the starter. Should this wire be "Fused" at some point? If so where and what type of fuse would be the best and easiers to install?

Also I am assuming that the car should have a "main fuse" somewhere?? just wondering where that would be?

Thanks
Chris

You should have a fusible link on the wire thats feeding the rest of the car, see pic below for original locations
