Directional Signals

When I flip the turn signal lever to make a right my front and rear lights work but the light in the dash does not. Could this be the flasher that's causing the problem.

Re: Directional Signals

Sounds more like the indicator bulb in the dash is burned out or the socket is loose. These can be a real pain to reach.

Re: Directional Signals

If the front and rear turn signal lights are working the flasher is okay. As 12run stated above, it's most likely the indicator bulb.

Re: Directional Signals

I went under the dash tonight to see about removing the indicator light. Man is it tight in there. There is one plastic gang of of connections that are for idiot lights that are not wired up, only the turn signal is wired up. I am thinking the bulb must be very small and in front of this plastic part. There is 2 metal clamps one on each side of the plastic part. Any ideas on how to remove them so I can get to the bulb.
