67 sail panel lens replacement

guys,

How do i get the sail panel lens off to replace a light bulb and the lens?

1967 SS 396, M20.
now a 10.4:1 540, AFR 315 heads, UDHarold SR Cam with a Tremec TKO

Jeff:

You can use a small-thin bladed screwdriver inserted between the bezel and the lens on either side to release the retainer lug. Then pry the lens off to acess the bulb.
The older lenses become very brittle and will discolor and break easily when you try to remove them. Since you have a new lens already, be ready to install it...

i warmed mine up with a blow drier then used a small screw driver to pop em out, i wasnt taking any chances
