wiring remote solonoid

Hi All, curently wiring a remote solonoid in the trunk. I have a Tilton XLT starter..it is pretty small so I think it is a "mini" starter (Does anyone know). Anyway if that is the case is ther any problem with running a mini starter and a painless remote solonoid. i heard Mini's can cause a problem.

Re: wiring remote solonoid

Nothing special at all, but you only use 2 wires, one from the battery and one from the ignition, the third wire a stock setup had, that went to the coil, is unused.
Usually a mini is just a gear reduction starter, so it will work less starting your motor and probably use less amperage doing it.
