Question '69 Z/28 Starter Wiring

All,

Does anybody have any good pictures of how the wiring is supposed to be routed from the starter to the firewall, coil, and batter? I assume the big battery cable follows the oil pan rail. Thanks.

Yes,the battery cable is secured to the oil pan with two special retainers then on to the battery with two more secured to the crossmember and frame. The two wires to the solenoid come down from the harness and are routed behind a tab on the firewall near the heater core box.

Re: '69 Z/28 Starter Wiring

I'm not sure on the original harness but every one I have had a wire mount for the wires going to the starter that mounted to the top right bolt on the bellhousing and then thru the wire gutter over to the coil.
