Instrument panel light

When I turned on my headlights this morning the instrument panel and rally sport gauges went out. The outside lights and under dash lights work but not the speedometer ones. Can it be a fuse, I played with the wires in the back of the switch that didn't do anything. I have a 1969 RS/SS convertible w/350 Auto.

Re: Instrument panel light

See if you can get your hand up behind the instrument cluster and wiggle the connector.

Yup, try that. Start from the gauges and follow the wires out. That's what I would do. Usually works .

gthere is a sepazrate fuse for the guage lights, labelled LPS
Also, you might try rotating / wiggling the headlight knob
