Engine Wiring Harness - What to do with unused wires?

Hi All
I'm replacing my engine wiring harness on my '68. I don't need the wire for the heater blower motor or the wires for the coil since I have HEI. What do you guys suggest I do with these wires so they're not hanging connected to nothing? Should I "unplug" them from the bulkhead connector before I install it on the firewall, leave them and bury them in the wiring gutter, cut them close to the bulkhead connector??

Thanks!

If you have the room in the wire gutter, I would leave them in there just in case you ever decide to convert back to original. You can cut just the end connectors so you have more room and install new ones when you decide to use them. I said I would never go back to original ignition wiring and you guessed it, just finished it this year.

IMO, I'd leave them in the harness and fold them back and encase/enclose them.
