Help ID Computer from markings

94 Camaro SS VIN# Unknown (supposedly)
Codes on the computer: 86BMJRK1414575ZL, BMJR, 16210011
Are these markings representative of this car? Thanks!

Re: Help ID Computer from markings

I got a hit on the 011 # at camaross.com

I'm not registered there so couldn't get much, but the post that produced the hit did say it was a 94 model year pcm

Re: Help ID Computer from markings

The big question is this:

Why did my painless harness (part number was double checked and is correct) come with an ODBII connector? If we connect an OBDII connector, do all the pins still line up correctly?

Seems odd. My 02/94 Z is not OBD2.

Re: Help ID Computer from markings

I have read on one site that SOME cars had OBDII connectors but it doesn't make much sense...guess I'll have to talk to Painless tomorrow to see what they have to say...

As I study on these, I've read that too.
Another site you might try is Moates.com
They do a lot of stuff for hacking and tuning factory efi, lotsa products both hardware and software, and lots of info.

Answer

Finally got the scanner to read the computer:

Computer is out of a 94 Camaro w/ Automatic Transmission

All of Painless' wiring harnesses come with OBDII connectors. They will only ship you the OBDI adaptor if you request it.

WHen I get my programming tool, can I flash my T56 tranny into this or can only the dealer make that change?
