68 Side Marker trim question

Anyone know where I can get the trim of the repro sidemarkers? Not the chrome bezzle, but the slimmer metal that holds the lens in place. I have the sidemarkers themselves, I'm doing some custom work and need a few of them. Any help on this please. thanks.

Re: 68 Side Marker trim question

not aware of any other peice. When I replaced mine, it was just the lamp gousing with lens attached, and the bezel. That's all that came off too.

I tried putting up a picture with no success. here is a link to one on ebay just showing the slimmer trim without the chrome bezel

Re: 68 Side Marker trim question

The '68 Camaro marker lights only had the chrome bezel, the plastic lens, gasket, and they were held on with speed nuts from the inside of the 1/4-panel or fender. Like Jim said, they had no extra trim. The pic looks like a '68 Chevelle marker light, not a Camaro. Camaros didn't have the chrome trim around the plastic.

Re: 68 Side Marker trim question

I went to Classic Industries this past Friday and got one side marker and it was the lens, the plastic housing and the trim, not the chrome bezel. And on their catalog, it is pictured and if I remember right, says the trim may be needed to be removed to your application.

Re: 68 Side Marker trim question

probably a one size fits all part. The 2 remaining (believed to be) original ones I pulled off did NOT have that chrome trim.
