running light's keep blowing fuse!

I have a 1993 camaro with the 5.7 350 hp the car is fully loaded (t-tops all of the facyory works) my problem is that the 20 amp fuse for the dash and running light's started blowing and i would replace it - it lasted for a while but now when i turn on the light switch the fuse blow's instantly -- but turn the switch to head light's and only the head lights work! I have the car half apart looking for a ground problem on the running light brown and orange wires but cannot not find any thing! any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: running light's keep blowing fuse!

It sounds like you're heading in the right direction. Look for a pinch or a rub through on the wire insulation. I don't know if your car has the push-in or twist-in bulbs, but pull them out and see what happens. I know with the twist-in bulbs sometimes the glass portion breaks loose and turns in the brass base.
