Engine swap

My name is Stan i have a 1977 corvette i put a 1988 tpi corvette engine in the 77vette. I am having problems with wiring harness. thei 1988 tpi came complete with 700-r4 transmission. wiring harness, and all sensors. The problem is the car starts up and runs 15 to 30 seconds and then shuts down. I have electric inline fuel pump (high pressure}with 40psi. when i spray carb. cleaner in throttle body it runs until I stop sparying. I have two wires pink one an purple one, where do they go? and could someone tell me how to hook up wires from ECM to my 1977 corvette? please help me. If you can help please email me at [email protected].
