TKO Weatherpack-style Backup Light Switch Wiring

On the Weatherpack style backup (reverse) light switch, does it matter which side gets the pink (12 V feed) and which side gets the green (to reverse lamps)?? I don't think it matters, but I just want to confirm.

If it does matter, can someone give me which is left, which is right, if the Weatherpack socket on the trans switch is oriented with the locking tab down toward the floor??
