Cancel cam wiring connector

I am in the process of working on the wiring on my 67 camaro. My original dash harness was hacked up beyond repair and old. So, out of stupidity, I gave it away some time ago. I am putting an LS1/T56 into the car and doing all custom wiring on the car. I know there are companies out there that can make the harnesses that I need, but I like doing everything myself and saving every dollar I can everywhere I can. Anyway, I need the dash harness plug and pins that plugs into my 67 camaro factory tilt steering column canceling cam. It`s the curved plug on the dash harness side. It`s a female plug. The canceling cam has a male plug, which I have. Where can I find this? Thanks

Re: Cancel cam wiring connector

Most any GM car from the 70's, maybe early 80's.
HELP rack at the auto store.

Another member here has an address to a company selling all these connectors and pins and tools. Maybe they will give it.

Re: Cancel cam wiring connector

I believe that the curved connector was just a 1967-68 part. But it was used on nearly all GM cars those two years.

Re: Cancel cam wiring connector

GM switched to the flat style plug in 69 and up. I don`t know if any earlier cars got the curved connector like the camaro, sure they did though. The junk yards around here don`t have older cars in them anymore. They all got crushed, plus I don`t feel like hunting the yards for that part. I will if I have to, but prefer just to sit at my computer and order the part. Much easier that way. Somebody has to sell just this connector with the pins. They sure are putting them on the new harness`s being sold, so somebody is making them. The million dollar question is WHO. Thanks guys

Re: Cancel cam wiring connector

Why don't you call American Wiring/Harness? They are one of the sponsors here for the connector needed.

I'm sure they will help you out.

Re: Cancel cam wiring connector

I just got off the phone with them. I`m going to buy their front light and body harness. Anyone need an original 67 rs front light harness in good shape? It`s dirty though. Kind of expected for 40 years old
