Regulator grommets

I've replaced my voltage regulator and I noticed that the rubber grommets behind the original were in pretty bad shape and one was missing altogether. My question is why are those there in the first place and where can I find a replacement for them.

Thanks

Re: Regulator grommets

I bolted mine to the support without the grommets and have had no problem. Use a star washer to ground the chassis to the support.

Re: Regulator grommets

Thanks for the advice. I picked up some grommets at the hardware store that fit perfect then grounded the unit to radiator support. Worked out well.
