Re: Scammed On A Pair Of 68 Camaro Doors

Wolfe100 has contacted me and says he is going to send me my money back.
He still claims he sent the doors but has no tracking #'s and can't find his reciept.

He also stated that he had many calls from Team Camaro Members threatning
his life and his familys life. and one person said he was going to f#*# his dog.

All I wanted was a few people to call and ask why he did not ship the doors or give me my money back.If its true what he said I think we went to far , But I have been hearing nothing but stories from him for the past 2 months so I guess I will take what he said happened with a grain of salt

What do you guys think

I wouldnt worry about this guy after u get ur money back. Just make a mental note not to deal with him again. Make sure that you throw his name under the bus so others dont get hit. Good Luck

If he's a paying member, I think it would be good for the admin to contact him and hear his side of the story and take action if needed. He could truely be a good guy that has this one deal go bad or just a poor business man. If he's a person that was found to hang out make a few posts and then scam somebody with the use of membership he should be delt with how ever Al thinks is best.

The site administration has been in contact and the orig thread was removed. I tried to warn everyone, I believe "witch hunt" was what I said would come of this. I totally understand blue69's frustration but we all need to remember there may be 100 people reading a thread like this that are not associated with the site for every 1 member here. Why would anyone using the site to sell parts pay for a gold membership and then intentionally rip someone off? Not much chance that any of the callers that threatened Wolfe100 or his dog are going to call back and apologize. It really sours my stomach to think people would do that!

We have the site discussion forum so problems can be brought to the site admins attention. Details here should always be limited. I don't know of a single time someone has felt they have had a problem that Al has not invested long hrs investigating. Typically the results are positive and there was just a big communications breakdown between buyer and seller.

In the future expect to find more posts edited or removed, what happened here is inexcusable!!

Re: Scammed On A Pair Of 68 Camaro Doors

I will post it here since people might read it. I have been around this site since it's inception and before here i was over at Team Chevelle, I was there before it was a web site and it was a news letter type of format.

In all my years Al has always made himself availble to us for questions. I have bought and sold many parts on Al's Team sites over the years. I have made some very good friends also. It nice to travel and meet up with people if you have the chance, there are Team members all over the place.

I just bought parts last week and before making my move I PM'ed Al and asked if he had ever noted any problems with the person. He got back to me very quickly and satisfide with his answer mailed off my money.

The admin is here to help everyone, not just edit, move or close posts. They have a behind the sceens look at things and can help you but you have to ask first. The amazing thing is it's all done for free.

If you need help just ask them. I had dealing with parts I bought about 2 years ago and Al was able to help out. It turned out to be a problem with communication, timing on the sellers part and unexpected things happening in his life that made getting parts out not a very important issue for him at the time. All turned out well though in the end, he even sent me money back, which I returned to him.
