Angry New Tooling Same Problems

Just alittle venting... I just recieved a new clip with NEW TOOLING, just words. Both fenders needed shaving one I had to weld a strip on because it was so far off the top and bottom fit ok but the middle was off way off.
The hood also needed work. They have no date code on them so I am asuuming they must be getting rid of the old stock first at OUR expense.
I was asumming that I would have to do a little fudging but for what this stuff cost We must demand a better product. It kinda sad that our American Muscle Cars have so much imported #$%$%$ on them.

Re: New Tooling Same Problems

I feel your pain. I had to do alot of tweaking to get things to workout. Heck my GM quaters needed tweaking. Keep at it and it will be all behind you one day.

It does make me think twice about starting another project...do I want to go through it all again ?...nope.,,,but I do feel real good knowing what I accomplished. So will you.
