how do I make one of my previous attachments visible?

I found a photo I previously used in the forum, it's already uploaded to "my attachments in this forum. I have the link to it, but how do I make the image appear in future forum posts?
Here's the link: https://www.camaros.net/forums/attach...4&d=1183019503

It won't appear using the [img] tags.

Copy the file/picture, rename it and then it will repost - or at least it worked for me once ...

hmmm, i've tried that and it didn't work. I think after you've used an attachment, the best you'll ever get out of it is a clickable link. That's why I went back to hosting my pics elsewhere.

I had the same problem I post thru photobucket now. The only problem I have sometime is resizing so they don't take up the whole screen....

I'm hoping to be able to fix this someday, it's a code problem with the software that keeps hackers out.

I think you're right Jim - I had to resave the file as something else (and renamed it to identify) and then it allowed it.
Was a long time ago and I just do the work-around now ...
I've tried two photo sharing sites years ago and they both went belly-up or trashed some of my files - so I gave up, maybe time to try again

Our showroom works fine for hosting and using the images in other posts.

to update, you may now upload the same attachment more than once.

Still no fix to have the existing image re-used, it's possible to enable it but is not recommeded by the software developers as it allows malicious code to be sent to the server (hacking).
