Autoforums' intentions..

7 June 2010

As I received these emails last evening;

From: "Team Camaro Tech" <[email protected]>
To: <[email protected]>
Subject: "Classic Instruments 1967-68 Camaro Gauge Cluster" update
Date: Sunday, June 06, 2010 9:30 PM

From: "Team Camaro Tech" <[email protected]>
To: <[email protected]>
Subject: "New Rear End - **PG-13** Partial Nudity" update
Date: Sunday, June 06, 2010 9:30 PM

my account, after several attempts to close it, is still active.

You were also instructed to remove my personal information from your database(s) and obviously those requests have been ignored too.

What are Autoforums intentions in keeping this account active and maintaining my information on file?

Re: Autoforums' intentions..

I don't think they have any obligation to remove any information you voluntarily gave them. If the goal is to stop getting any communications from the site, you could go into your User Control Panel, limit access to your information to "friends" only, eliminate all "friends" and unsubscribe from all threads. I think that would do it.

Re: Autoforums' intentions..

Those e-mails are because you suscribe to the 2 threads in question. They get sent out when new posts are placed. You can go into your UserCP under Subscriptions and list what you have subscribed to as well check the box on the right and scroll down to where you can pick from a list to unsubcribe

I explained in your previous thread you started that you have no right to demand your account be removed. You might try PMing "TheDon" and asking instead of demanding in open forum where your message is only being heard by other members and moderators that volunteer.

If you don't want to use your account here, just leave, turn off your subscriptions, log out, clear your browsers cache and don't look back.

If you really want I can ban your user-id but I don't recomend it...
