Site reported as unsafe

I am getting a big red page that says site reported as unsafe when attempting to come in. I can bypass this but is my Macafee detecting something I should pay attention to or has someone reported the site to keep people from coming?

Re: Site reported as unsafe

I've tried hard to duplicate but I'm getting no issues. I've tried being logged out coming im from the main home page, using 2 different browsers etc. Can someone do a screen copy of the message(s) you're getting?

I also had problems but not limited to this site. I think it was some company pretending to be my anti-virus software?? ("click here to be protected", stuff like that)

My firewall just identified a trojan, probably from one of the ads.

Re: Site reported as unsafe

On the computer in the back room I got a window warning about a java application, it was asking if I wanted to allow it to run and I said no and when the dialogue box cleared I was left seeing only 1 of the 2 box ads at the top of the page when not logged in. A lot of times windows security settings and browser settings are the tight and don't allow some scripts without warning the user...

I'm not trying to play this off, the site has fairly tight security but you never know so I have left a message for the Autoforums folks, hope they all don't have the day off...

Re: Site reported as unsafe

Ran into this on another site.. Later found out it wasn't the site but one of the servers or gateways that bring you to the site.. Was hosting a unsafe website.. So that server is flagged to anyone that tries to use it as a gateway..

So that unsafe website warning doesn't necessarily refer to this site.. And not everyone will get the warning as some are routed through different gateways

Thats the way it was explained to me
