Re: Site SLOOOOOOOOOW?

admin notified but I have same speed here as always, might be a weak server in the system in between you, your ISP, the other 10 or so servers in between them and then into the TC server. Keep in mind, a weak server in a chain of them, brings your reading speed down to the slowest level that your TC info. comes thru while a server from lets say Disney in FL comes thru a different set of servers and seems super fast. Nobody is in direct connection anymore to any site, there are more and more servers in between.

Jim...I don't think that's it. I have experienced the same problem as others with the autoforum sites (Team Camaro,Team Chevelle and Team Nova) using Firefox. I have logged in from 3 different cities on three different computers and experienced the same thing from all three.

My home computer is averaging 20MBPS and at work it's even faster. I don't get the slowdown on any other sites (including car sites)...so it's definitely tied into autoforums only.

The slowdown can last from about 5 seconds to almost a minute. It seems there is no rhyme or reason for it.

I thought that i had it figured out a week or so ago...I updated my flash player and it sped up for about 3 hours...LOL

I don't know, just trying to help...

It's not autoforums directly, if it was everyone would be experiencing the same slow down... If you look at those reporting the slow problem it becomes clearer what the issue is!

Not one paid member has complained, paid members see less advertising. It's either a bad ad or autoforums is slowing down the site to get folks to buy memberships... Think about it!
