Thank you Camaro.net Geniuses

This is a short note of gratitude to this site and the extremely talented group of people that keep it running and contribute to the forums. I belong to a few boards and find that this group really does seem to collectively know everything. The knowledge base is vast and incredibly powerful to unlock, if you know how to ask your question succinctly.

Really, hats off and great job. This is the best automotive website out there. I've certainly learned far more than I've been able to contribute, but I try my best as an amateur.

Re: Thank you Camaro.net Geniuses

I know what you mean. I don't thinkg I've ever heard a question asked here that someone didn't have the answer to. Nice that there isn't any drama, here, either.

Experience...... It's what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

Re: Thank you Camaro.net Geniuses

I read some of the questions and I know someone here has either tried it, or is going to... Other times I think there is no answer to this, then someone pops up and has one... I learn something new everyday...

Re: Thank you Camaro.net Geniuses

Here is a thought.....
Most of us picked up our knowledge/experiance well before the internet, before computers, before cell phones, before the mid 1990s...we did not have the knowledge support you guys now enjoy...
So much of our learning was hit and miss and in some cases very expensive learning curves.... a selves of reference and text books...extensive reference libaries.
This has been the case since the 1st printing press in the 1400s
I was not untill the 1990s the next huge change took place.

My Spelling is not incorrect...it is creative

Agree 100%!!!!!! Lot's of great folks here with tons of knowledge. And several have even sent me parts for this and that with no intent or wanting $$$$ other than just trying to help a fellow hobbyist out.
And of course we PA guys and gals have to stick together

Re: Thank you Camaro.net Geniuses

I completely agree. Doing a 68 camaro - installing an ls1 and 4l60e. bought as a half done project. The vast amount of knowledge here, has and will be, so helpful in completion. Complete respect to the board members who contribute their knowledge and time to others in need. I send my gratitude as well. From PA as well. Near the poconos

Did u read my post above.. a lot of us old guys did it with no internet, computers cell phones....and we still have our libaries (a libaray is a collection of hard copy print outs called books for those young guys lol).. and most of use still have them up on the shelves.
And we collected in groups on Frid And Sat nights....swapped info.....(called Hot Rod clubs.) then the cops would move us on....
