Re: NO Avatar selected?

Avatar's are not allowed on the site for members, never have been. It was discussed at length a few years ago and a huge number of folks didnt want to have the slower loading that avatars bring since alot of our folks are on dial up. Sorry.

Re: NO Avatar selected?

Donny... you mean that you're getting a message saying that? Or are you trying to change your avatar? If so, they're not allowed.
The sites owners are doing a bunch of things to the site(s) right now. Weird stuff is bound to pop up.

I have the homepage saved and when I click on the link and visit I see "No Avatar Selected" along with user CP. I'm not trying to change anything.

Re: NO Avatar selected?

It's normal! After logging in and when you go to www.camaros.net (what should be the sites main page) you are being taken to a temporary page that is replacing the sites main page until they get done with what ever they are doing to it. My guess is what we are all seeing is a peek at something like the future main page for logged in visits. The temp page has a UserCP field in it and if Avatars were functioning you would see an Avatar then some info and below that some Private message info.

When you see "No Avatar Selected" you can click on it and it takes you to the place that would let you assign an Avatar if the site turned on the feature!

Let me be the first to apologize for the changes not happening as they should but also please keep in mind the AF folks are actually tinkering with the site and even though it's going slower than we ever experienced when the site only had one man taking care of it, at least they are trying and we still have a place to post!

No need for an apology, I was just wondering if I was experiencing a problem with my computer. Can't afford another Trojan/Virus LOL.
