Post count glitch?

Anybody else notice that their post count went down suddenly?

For example mine went down by exactly 600 a few weeks ago.

Re: Post count glitch?

We have had a few new members who's counts were all of a sudden in the millions so I can see the opposite happening as well. We can as the system to reset your counts based on existing threads if you like.

The 4 million or billion post counts were easy to reset because the screen names only had a few actual posts. If someone has several hundred to several thousand posts and they span many years especially if they go back to posts made in the early years it would be a daunting task to make an accurate count and restore it.

Re: Post count glitch?

No problem on this end either. I wonder if the post were dropped or just the counter, no matter either way.

Naw, it doesn't matter, but when I noticed something that hasn't happened in 13 years it made me wonder. I thought I might have been disciplined for my anti government posts in OT.

Re: Post count glitch?

Hey Guys,

I just ran some maintenance on the forum that should have fixed your post counts. I notice some of you still have very high ones. Can you let me know if you're still having an issue with your post count.

Thanks

Re: Post count glitch?

Mine still looks wrong. I had around 3,800 at one time. Again, no problem.

Not too sure I knew what mine was before the issue actually. I rarely look.
