I have a quick question. I have placed an ad under parts wanted. I have received what I believe to be two possible scammer's who have emailed my personal email acct to let me know that they have what I am looking for. Wouldn't they just post a response to my ad right here on the forum? how did they get my email?

anybody else get these types of responses?

Re: Scammer's

Here's your ad for T3 headlights....

As you can see, your email is displayed in the ad and is required. I've sold and bought a few parts in the classifieds and email has most always been the main form of communication. Seldom does anyone reply to the ad itself.

You can also post your ad in the forum classifieds, in which case e-mail is not required and folks usually reply directly to the ad or through PM's.
