Same thing here. I think this is the only forum I'm on that does not have avatars.

Re: Avatar

I'm fine with not having an avatar. But the homepage of the forum is telling me that my setup is not complete and that I need to add an avatar. But I can't.
That's just confusing.

Re: Avatar

Just hit the Minus sign in the upper right of the message box, it will minimize it.

Re: Avatar

Hi guys,

I took a look at the settings and it seems like only the staff are allowed to customize their own avatars. Were you able to reach Jeff about turning that off?

Re: Avatar

I think he has already done that but some Moderators lost their Avatars and can NOT add their own back through the User CP interface but can through MOD vbullitan interface.

The issue for the members - paying and non is that the home page is telling them their profile is not complete and they need to upload an avatar.

I would want them to be nagged if they had not entered a first name or created a signature, or left location blank but those are my pet peeves as I think its rude not to use a first name or tell us your location, IMHO.

Re: Avatar

Thanks. Is there a way to tell us who may have been able to add their own avatar while the gate was open so we can remove it?
