Can't change to Classic view

For some reason after cleaning out my cache, temp files etc, I can't get the site to go to Classic view.

Re: Can't change to Classic view

That worked...thx. Before it used to work at the bottom of the page.

Re: Can't change to Classic view

I was able to change to classic and everything works.
But I find the new version is easier to follow what is going on " Right Now".
But cannot view thumbnails or post replies unless going to advanced.

Re: Can't change to Classic view

There seems to be a lot of stuff no longer working for folks using Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer, and FireFox after April updates removed java and plugin support. I'm not having the issues in FF 53.03 or 52. ESR in use at work, or Opera. However I am having issues at other sites where the screen doesn't refresh after buttons etc are clicked as they used to so I don't think it is just our site no longer playing nice with disabled java and flash. In FF ESR Flash is still working as it used to, but in the FireFox general release it is blocked by default and every visit, and every page that has old legacy flash you have to enable it if you want it.

I'm not sure what our skin is using but maybe elements of flash were included that no longer work because they are blocked by default?

Re: Can't change to Classic view

These sound like issues that cropped up that after a conflict we had with adblockers and the Full Site skin. Those experiencing this issue, can you confirm for me if you are using an adblocker? And if so, can you try disabling it temporarily to confirm that it's the cause. I have work arounds for it if that's the cause

Re: Can't change to Classic view

Kevin - I use both adblock plus and no-script in FireFox as well as blocking all mass ad companies known domains and ips in the firewall using a federal blacklist and I have zero issues on the site.

Re: Can't change to Classic view

I use Adguard Version 6.1.331.1732

Explorer, Chrome and Firefox browsers

If I turn off Ad Blocker the site works fine. With it turned on the Full Skin does not work

Re: Can't change to Classic view

I was the one who first posted about the issues of not being able to view thumbnails, and quick reply not working. I had to change to Classic from my user CP because the pull-down menu at the bottom of the page didn't work.

Without any ad blockers this site became so slow it was intolerable.

I've been problem-free the last month or so using full skin AND Adblocker plus. (Firefox)

What I did was remove completely the adblockers on my comp. I then downloaded the LATEST version of Adblocker plus and all is right with the world again on the full skin. (Including the pull-down menu)
