why is it some people can post a subject and get good answers,I tried and got a bunch of bickering by guys that thought they knew all the answers and only thenselves and no one else.I did not think my questions deserved all the hi tec mumbo jumdo and concern about what country parts were made in.And how the way each one did their car was the only correct way to do it.Iam a little disappointed and will think twice about posting here again for fear of the verbal onslaught and not being technical enough.

Try to look past the chest thumping, it's not the whole site being as you have described... Even those doing it are not completely aware they are coming off the way they are!!

Try to use the site to research (the search feature here is real good) before posting so you ask a bit more direct questions. Parts quality is a tough one too as folks tend to form alliences (sp?) with the companys they have chosen to use. A lot of street and track performance folks run slightly modified stock A-arms. IMO unless it's pure competition good bushing and the gulstrand (sp?) mod will dial your car in nicely.

My apologies, but without knowing it, you asked the most touchy question that could have been asked.

There has been some past head butting over the ST arms being direct copies of the Global West arms, and not good quality, but I won't go into it now.

I let the discussion wander a little because I wanted to see if I could resolve some of the conflict. If you post another question, I'll delete any replies that are not on subject, but if you ask about quality you are going to get the same response as before.

If you had asked whether tubular arms or different bushings were a good idea, you probably would have gotten some helpful suggestions.

If you think the discussion here was bad, the one on was worse but no real name-calling was done, so still not as bad as other forums. The PT forum is not highly moderated either!

Consider asking "what are the advantages of tubular arms?" or something similar and you should get a calmer response. Also include what your goal is and what your budget is as specificaly as possible as we have crusers, to autocrossers to drag racers here.

Check my web page for First Gen Camaro suspension info:
