uh, maybe you guys already have this and i just haven't found it yet.

was reading a reply by eric68 about an engine setup, and he used the word "hyerutectic" in reference to pistons. it's a new one on me. tried the search and struck out and mr. webster can't tell me.

might save you tech pros from spending a lot of time answering questions from a tyro like me.

1969 Z10 350/300 hp<br />2001 grand prix gt<br />1989 3500 sle gashog paint-<br /> flaking dually <br />600 zrt arctic cat<br />700 wildcat artic cat<br />john deere stx38 rider (best e.t.- 11.3 minute 1/4 mile, no slicks)<br />bass buggy 60 hp merc (not all the girls like to go fast...)

I think you misspelled it. Try your search using "hypereutectic" and you should get 21 results. Hope that helps.

Hypereutectic isn't on the list, it's the type of alloy the piston is made from. a hypereutectic piston is cast but a bit stronger and lighter than traditional cast and not as strong as forged...
