I have 68 Sub frame with the 68 Motor mounting brackets and motor mounts.I have a 69 camaro that I am putting the 396 in. It did have a six cyl in it. So I bought this sub frame that was for a 396 big block. My car is an air car so I bought the evaporator core outlet case for the big block.Im having trouble mounting the engine it looks like it is to far to the right(passanger side) It wont Allow me to put the case on or even the exhaust Manifold. So I bought the mounting brackets for the 69 camaro and motor mounts, but it still wont fit right. What am I doing wronge? any info would be helpful. Thanks Brad Herbst

This may sound stupid, but are the frame mounts AND the engine mounts the correct big block model. If both sets of mounts are not correct, the engine will not sit correctly within the subframe. With the correct mounts installed, the engine should be slightly tilted upward on the drivers side, and moved 1 inch forward versus the normal mounting points.
